Only the first half matters here in context. As for the second half and the whole gamergate thing ... I have to add: There's the one half of gamergate where a bunch of people got together to harass certain individuals. Then there's the other half that just thought that what certain individuals said and stuff was ... well ... stupid. I'd argue that the two sides of it happened vastly independent from each other and ... it always rubs me the wrong way when people pretend like that couldn't possibly have been the case.

I mean ... when thinking of the gamergate stuff, the notion of "they destroy the thing I love" is taken as a dog-whistle. Like ... we couldn't quite possibly be genuinely upset of what they did to ... Star Wars for instance. Like, we have to like it because it's Star Wars. Despite them re-interpreting the whole thing, having no clue of any kind of philosophical depth to the source-material and ignoring input from THE FCKING creator OF THE WHOLE THING ... it couldn't quite possibly be of any relevance? "It's Star Wars!".

But that's also just beside the actual issue here.
But it's similar. In that ... a thing gets boiled down to the one thing that [group] can be upset about; And everything else is getting ignored.
And what's disheartening is ... that it has worked well so far. Accross the board. To the point - though such behavior is already in that ballpark - where people turn to violence within their means. Be it threats or acts of actual violence or just ignorance/"cancellation".

However, in relation to the thing on Tough Love, there are stupid people that would then only comprehend things that are understandable within their own context. Believing that they're right and using whatever Force they have to impose their ideas on others ... is thereby just the next logical step, given that they're cut off from comprehending the whole. Such and such.

I suppose my note on what I wanted to rant about here is a bit cringe. I was to lazy to handwrite it out, which ... might have been another 4+ pages ... so. Most of that has faded from my mind. Well ... so ... it's like an "in before" type of thing - where, you can either do that or leave it. But, if you wanna show me who's boss ... just understand: I already know and it might not be who you think it is!

[I mean: I think it's not necessarily 'input reading', but perhaps something more like "status reading". Input Reading would be more like: You press 'button' and then enemy proceeds to 'do thing'. "Status Reading" would be more like: You press 'button' and since you're not in an animation, you heal. The enemy then reads your status as "chugging", thus proceeding to 'do thing'. Which is ... as close to it "seeing you doing the thing" as it gets. If you're fancy you can add a delay, like ... a reaction time.]
